A blog reader of mine dstb told me about StudyStack.com.
This is a free website where you can create your own study items to use for flash cards or other things and/or use data inputted by other users if they made it public.
Your data can be kept private or shared with the public.
There are a number of different activities that can be done on the studystack.com website to study with your data. The site shuffles your data and presents it in forms such as flash card review where you place it in the correct or incorrect pile or make a matching activity or a crossword puzzle or a bunch of other options.
Additionally the data in StudyStack can be exported to apps located on mobile devices so they can be used for studying in a more portable way than sitting at home in front of a desktop PC.
A student could create their own flashcards which might help them study and memorize the information, or if this is not a good use of their time, the parent could load the data and let the student spend their time doing the actual studying.
So far I have no complaints and only praise for this free online tool.

I am glad they are working for you! My son has been using them for his Biology terms and it has really helped.
