Blueberries ripe and unripe on the bush in a former fruit orchard which was turned over to an open space nonprofit organization, Trout Brook Valley Farm in Easton, Connecticut.
I was on a wildcrafting hike with Wildman Steve Brill. These are technically not wildcrafted. Volunteers maintain the bushes and paid members of the organization can harvest limited amounts. Visitors cannot harvest the berries. To access these you must hike on trails through the woods to get to the top of a hill, one hill in a ridge that goes through several towns.
